Judy Elvington

Judy teaches Hatha Yoga utilizing a flowing and meditative style that stretches, strengthens, energizes and relaxes the body as it focuses and soothes the mind and encourages deep breathing. There is a strong emphasis on alignment and awareness of Prana (life force energy). Her love of yoga and personal practice began in the early seventies. She received her first yoga teaching certification through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California and began teaching in 1991. Continuing as a teacher and student, Judy earned an advanced teacher’s certification through the Amrit Yoga Institute in 2005. She is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. Judy has also studied Qigong in the United States, China and the Philippines. Her introduction to Qigong practice came from Sifu Ko Wong of San Francisco. She has studied extensively with Master Li Jun Feng. Judy became one of the world’s first teachers of Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong Qigong in l996. Her flowing, meditative style, works naturally with the beautiful movements and the philosophy of Wuji Yuan Gong.
