Kris Brinker has been a practitioner of the internal arts since the year 2000. Her early roots began with traditional Yang style Taiji and Hatha Yoga. Kris later began classes with Peaceable Dragon instructors in 2003 and continues studying the Cheng Man-Ching variation of the Yang style form as well as numerous variations of Qigong including Taiji Shen Gong, and the Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong forms, among others.
Kris is authorized to teach by The International Sheng Zhen Society and Master Li Jun Feng, principal teacher of Sheng Zhen Qigong and former head coach of the Chinese National Wushu (Kung Fu) Team.
Along with classes dedicated to Taiji and Qigong, Kris also offers a program entitled “Just Breathe”, a class designed to offer students practical physical, emotional and spiritual benefits for every-day life through the use of movements and principles based on Taiji, Qigong and Yoga.

John has studied Tai Chi (Yang style, Cheng Man-Ch’ing variation) since 1997. He continues to seek out study opportunities at as many intensive seminars and workshops as possible. Currently he studies two days per week with his current teachers and teaches Tai Chi at the South Run Recreational Center, part of the Fairfax County Park System.
John has also studied Wuji Yuan Gong (Qigong) with Master Li Jun Feng, former coach of the Beijing Wushu Team of the Peoples Republic of China. And has studied Tai Chi Sword and Ba Gua with Li Jing, and Push Hands with David Chen.
John is a member of the Peaceable Dragon board of directors and the Peaceable Dragon Instructors Association (PDIA).

Paul’s classes are known for satisfying a variety of learning styles as well as for providing an atmosphere of warmth and humor. They furnish as core elements an opportunity for increasing one’s emotional balance and spiritual focus.
After over thirty years experience in the martial and internal arts, Paul founded Peaceable Dragon in 1991 to bring together like-minded teachers and students in the formation of a learning community. His background involves significant pursuit of spiritual, mental, and physical growth. This journey spans decades and continents and is willingly shared with students in each of his classes. He is especially grateful to esteemed qigong masters Ko Wong and Li Jun Feng. Though he has learned from numerous taijiquan teachers, among the most well known are Yang Zhen Duo, Chen Zheng Lei, Christopher Pei and Li Jing.
Paul is a professional member of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong (Beijing) a retired member of the Board of Directors of the National Qigong Association (USA); and carries NQA certification at Level IV: Teacher- it highest level of certification.
